IP: India has made good progress toward developing a robust regulatory framework for protecting international IP. However, there are a number of measures the company itself can take to secure IP within the organisation. All projects are coded with non connecting names, all documents containing structures are password protected, each lab book for each project is kept separate, contracts are put in place that reflect the ownership of IP. O2h also work very hard on our retention rates which have an obvious effect on the IP confidentiality. O2h additionally focus on integrity in values and in the informal references on the character of new joiners.

IT Policy: The proposed early drug discovery outsourced unit will have 24 hour security and the collaboration has been proposed at full capacity such that there will be no project work being undertaken for other clients at this unit. O2h has a strict IT policy which is executed by a dedicated on-site IT Manager. The security protocols include a firewall to control traffic based on IP, port and packet, antivirus servers of McAfee and regular data back-up on a remote back-up server. Main server access is restricted and highly confidential files and folders containing structures are all password protected. Each project has different passwords which are not shared between project teams.
